Warranty Terms and Conditions
Basis of Warranty Issuance
The basis for issuing the warranty is the correct completion of the warranty card. The Guarantor ensures the proper functioning of the PVC windows produced by Domex Windows and Doors under standard usage conditions, provided they are used according to their intended purpose and maintained in accordance with the care instructions.
In the event of hidden defects discovered during the warranty period, a claim must be submitted in writing to the point of purchase immediately after the defect is noticed, but no later than 7 days after its detection. Failure to do so may result in the loss of warranty coverage. The claim must include the order number from the warranty card and a copy of the purchase receipt.
The Guarantor commits to rectifying any defects found within the warranty period as soon as possible. Due to technological advancements during the warranty period, structural changes to certain components (such as profiles, hardware, and glass) may occur. The Guarantor reserves the right to replace discontinued components with parts of similar functionality.
The Guarantor also reserves the right to assess and qualify any damage. If significant defects that cannot be rectified are identified, the Guarantor may replace the product or its components. The Guarantor may also provide a discount on the net price in proportion to the defect, but the defect for which a discount is granted will no longer be covered by the warranty.
The warranty period begins from the moment the product is delivered and received. Warranty rights are granted once the product is fully paid for.
The Warranty Does Not Cover
The warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Improper transport by the customer.
- Mechanical, thermal, or chemical damage.
- Failure to follow installation guidelines.
- Improper usage or maintenance, including lack of proper care.
- External factors such as natural disasters, fire, or accidents.
Maintenance Guidelines
To ensure the durability and functionality of your PVC windows and doors, please follow these maintenance instructions:
- Clean the surfaces regularly using a soft cloth and mild detergents.
- Lubricate moving parts and seals at least once a year.
- Ensure proper ventilation to prevent condensation and mold growth.
How to Ventilate Properly
For proper ventilation, windows should have the ability to allow air exchange while maintaining a sealed environment. Domex Windows and Doors offers several solutions for controlled ventilation:
- Micro-ventilation: A feature that enables slight window opening without fully unlocking it.
- Graduated tilt opening: Allows minimal tilting for ventilation even in cold temperatures.
- Constant airflow ventilators: Recommended for high-rise buildings and homes with gas or coal heating systems.
